Super capsules gone

All of my super casules in my inventory are now regular/non-trbbling capsules. ****, over?!?!

tl;dr: Yes, this is working as intended.

We retired the Quantum Capsule this morning and converted them to regular, non-interest bearing Capsules so you retain your item organization, and also did a one-time grant of Rare Kinetic Capsules for each Quantum Capsule that was converted. We also temporarily reduced the Kinetic Capsule distance requirement to make it easier to craft different resource types.

The compound interest from Quantum Capsules impacted our game economy as well as our infrastructure costs to run Ingress because we were previously running this interest check in the background across each Quantum Capsule on each Ingress account every day. As you mentioned, Quantum Capsules are over.

You can retire your capsules, but not mine. **** your expendable kinetic capsules. They DO NOT replace Quantum Capsules. I want PERMANENT Kinetic Capsules to replace Quantum Capsules. Send me an email when I get my capsules back, so I know when to reinstall ingress.
