Portal Scan - Ingress Crashes

I have been trying for a while to get portal scans working. I used to be able to and now can't. My phone has not changed. The phone is an Android Phone, Samsung 21, Ingress version 2.105.3-705fad82 (I think?). Doesn't work when connected to wi-fi or 5G.

I hit "Scan Portal" and then my camera icon shows up in the top of the phone saying that Ingress is using it. The Ingress app is frozen and the only way to get out is to force stop.

Would like to go back to scanning portals if possible.
