I propose an idea for Ingress CORE subscription.
With the change of items received through CORE renewed, I thought for a while, and I wish to provide my input.
On top of the items we get now, why not introduce a new type of CMU capsule that can be immediately redeemable for a set of items? This type of capsule can only be obtained via CORE subscription. Once a month, the Agent gets a capsule that could be redeemable for, say, Apexes, rare/very rare mods, or even a generous grant of Bursters/Ultra Strikes/Resonators? They can stack up on these and/or redeem for what they need at the moment.
There isn't a one size fits all solution when figuring the item grants for CORE. With this, you can let the Agents decide what they want at the moment. One day, they may want Apex, and the next, extra resonators to go on a capture spree.

Why not? Because they don't want you to have unlimited storage, which is the purpose of your proposal.
They do of course give you some (ordinary) CMU which you can exchange for whatever you want in the store.
The economics of how bundles work in general is that not every customer is going to use every item in the bundle. If they only gave you stuff that you want then they'd have to charge more for it (or give you less stuff).
@starwort You say that like it's a bad thing. I'd prefer a smaller loadout kit that's tailored to stuff I will use rather than a pile of stuff I won't.
If they were to have two different prenumerations, one with only extra space, and one thats looks like it is today, I actually think people would choose only the extra space if the price were in proportion to the load out kits.
@Amaterasu00 For me it would be a no-brainer-- more space, no load out kit. Right now my two primary constraints on Ingress play are time and inventory space. Lack of time makes the inventory space problem worse, because I can keep hacking/drone-hacking from home but eventually I get to the point of just recycling enough stuff to do the daily hack and have room for capsule dupes.
Let us choose a loadout kit that suits our playstyle
The Adventurer - Kcaps, Fracker, ito mods, hypercubes
The Chaser - Apex, VRBB, SBULs, flip cards
Something like that
Actually, the space left in inventory, is highely connected to an agents activity ingame.
If someone has less than 1000 inventoryspaces left, that agent has a higher probability to show it self in comm.
An agent with 2495 items in inventory is less likely to show in comm.
I did recykle everything thats has been in my invenotory, and not beeing used in a week. Only spare those things, I wouldnt be able to ”restock to propere amount” within a week. (So if I would have had a vr-linkamp, I would have saved it)
recykle all keys, even those in keylockers. Dump all modds, weapen, resos, only keeping a small amount of each.
my activity raised a lot.
What would I be? The adventerous chaser? Needing both vrbb and itos! 😂 and the fracker. Could take that flipcards also!
An agent with 2495 items in inventory is less likely to show in comm.
Uh, given that the most "visible" actions in the game are deploying resonators or firing bursters, and these chew your inventory, why would they be less likely. When my inventory is full, I'm more likely to be visible. When my inventory is low, I'm more likely to be headed somewhere to restock by silently hacking...
Many agents stops playing, because their inventory are clammed. The same rule applies in other games to. So its not an ingressonly fenomenon!
That makes no sense in Ingress. If your inventory is full, it means you can play longer...
In terms of the items however, that limit is specifically avoided by this 'idea' meaning that people would have "even more gear".
