[2.101.3] Banner image missing from new News pop up

As the new design/feature was never announced, I have to assume, but I'm pretty sure that there is supposed to be a banner image behind the "Oct-Dec Events" text and not just a gray mass.

While we're at it, personally think it would look better if the "Cancel" button is switched with a "Close" button. Otherwise, looks cool!
