@NianticBrian scanner does not find gyroscope in Motorola G41. Other apps find it. Best Regards.
Can you please state what version of android you are using?
It doesn't look like Google supports the Motorola G41; it's not listed by Google as a supported device here:
If or when Google adds ARCore support, then we should be able to enable Portal Scanning for this device, thank you.
Motorola G41 is equal to Motorola G31 with small differences. @NianticBrian is incredible, Motorola G41 is certified only for purchasing subscription and items inside Ingress Store and badges or collections but is not certified for scanning. Bad things if Nia want a big base of players. Nia want only the money from players.
This is not a NIA issue though, but a Google one. NIA can only activate scanning once Google certifies the device, otherwise, they can't do anything.
@InvestigateXM Please read the answer from NIA, enabling is from NIA, not Google
Please read the answer from NIA, enabling is first from Google, then by NIA

If G31 is using the same MTK and is officially supported...hm,why dont ask Motorola support why ARCore is supported on G31 but not G41? Nia only supports devices from official ARCore supported list.
I am using a Motorola G31 and ARCore isn't working.
How do I fix this issue
Wait until it's added to the list that NianticBrian linked to.
As far as i see G31 IS officially supported for ARCore. If You say ARCore(!) isn't working (eg unable to install it via Store) You can try to install latest available apk manually AND/OR contact Motorola support or Play Store support too.
If ARCore is installed(afaik all ARCore supported phones have inbuilt ARCore app which should be updated to latest one imo) - but there is no "scan" button in settings of Ingress then it's a bug that Niantic should solve, try to open a support ticket and open a topic in this section or add ticket id here.
