Here is a screen capture from Wayfarer app. The wayspot is there, but never synced to Ingress. No distance issues with other wayspots. Just no Ingress sync there, ever.
I know it should work, but I can't do that. I do not have a PoGo account to give thumbs (only have my kids account which can't do that) and also I nominate portals mostly in very remote areas that I usually never visit again. This one was 2 hour drive + 2 hour hike from my home.
I have the same issue, still missing 1 portal. There are no distance issues. I don't know if it's live in PoGo since I don't have a PoGo account, but I can see it in the Wayfarer App beta on iOS. It's kind of a bummer since I drove 240 kilometers to submit this; it's a famous Finnish war hero.
Some of my missing portals have been synced, but I can confirm that at least one is still missing. I found it in the wayfarer app and there is no other wayspot or sensitive area near it. So it should sync to Ingress but never did.

Yes! That’s how I noticed they’d synced into the game
i noticed that sync isn't at 22h15 utc anymore
not sure if it's a bug or not. last one synced on ingress around 13h
