Portal Location Edit Not Working

Will not let you reposition pin. Snaps right back to current location. This has been reported previously but evidently not fixed. Specific portal is Fardale Chapel, Mahwah, NJ. Pin is down road and across street from actual portal. Android user here.

This is working as intended. In Ingress, you can only request an edit up to 25m of the current location. For all moves above that, it'll need to go directly through Niantic via Wayfarer. The best way for that is via the Wayfarer support chat at https://wayfarer.nianticlabs.com/new/help.
This is lengths better anyway, as you normally get a reply within a day and you can (and should) add evidence for the right location.
