Getting CORE spam emails even if I'm already subscribed

I keep getting these emails even though I'm already subscribed to core. This is blatant spam! How much more money do you want out of me?!

You don't know how to do mail-merge and remove existing subscribers from your mailing list?!

I want to get announcement emails. But I don't want to get spam that's not applicable to me!
