Despite purchasing 4 drone kits and being subscribed for new items at Niantic Supply, I didn't get any emails either. Only because I'm subscribed to multiple Ingress News Feeds/Channels on Telegram did I get the notice ahead of time. Which allowed me to purchase two subs because shipping was horribly high. A local agent missed the sale and will get my extra set at cost.
Pre-orders sold out it seems. I think I blinked. Maybe I blinked twice. Which is a pain.
If NIA want my money, please allow a batch order for the entire bundle with 1 shipping fee. Alternatively, look to find EU and (due a bunch of idiots being offended by "bendy bananas") UK publishers.
There are SOOOO many ways to solve this utterly simple situation.
I'd even be happy to receive the entire UK's bundle and post them onwards as the per shipment fees are excessive, so 1 shipment = less fees!
Some transparency on just **** is going on here. Asking your customers who wants the thing you are going to make. And then making it. And shipping it. It really is a solved issue. This is e-commerce 101.
"Our servers overloaded" - we have autoscaling compute, and queue systems to allow scaling to kick in if the spike is that high. Really not an issue.
To me, the entire enterprise looks ultra amateurish. If this was just some agents making some local kit for sale then I'd understand and wish them good luck and some advice on how to scale if they asked.
But the situation here is an internationally shipping company that demonstrates that it doesn't want to remain in business.
In short ... We are asking you to take our money. Willingly. It really shouldn't be this hard!!!
As for international shipping costs??? What the actual f? Just get the products manufactured and ship locally. Save us an absolute fortune.
I think Kickstarter, or taking advance orders, is the solution. That way, you manufacture what is requested, and make some extra for those who didn’t get on board. Avoids the issue of selling out because you underestimated demand.
Redeemed the 2015 Misery Moyer bio card passcode only to find out the card provided the 2016 medal, reached out to NianticSupply only to receive no response after 10days…. BE CAREFUL REDEEMING ALL MOYER CODES, drone kit passcodes were an absolute hassle only to find out the misery still continues in the x series kits, even after being reassured by NianticSupply codes will be correctly corresponding to the bio cards, they are not!!! Well done Nia&Supply the misery continues………
Yes, it was supposed to be delivered before 17th of June. The status page states a 'delivery attempted notice left' message, but that is total nonsense. This is such a poor experience. SMH,.
1st of June: "Some items in your order are on the way. Track your shipment to see the delivery status."
7th of June - East Rutherford, New Jersey USA.
19th of June - Received in Sydney depot.
20th of June - Transfer to "other"
So.. It's getting here. Just slow. I put my work address for delivery because there is always someone here during business hours AND we also have a system for non attended deliveries in worst case.
It looks like you're only being charged for the remaining months. The pre-order bundle with discount was for all 10 kits. Since one has already passed the purchase and shipment dates there's only 9 left. So now even as a bundle the remaining Kits are $30 each.
Edit: in fact looking at the screenshot it appears you're only getting 6 months of kits for each bundle you ordered.

That's because there are only 7 kits in total. One of the kits was paid the second you ordered, the rest is paid monthly in 6 installments. At least at that front, everything is fine. What's not is that it shows $30, as the 10% discount is supposed to be for all 7 kits.
Other people reported that this is just a visual issue and that they were correctly billed $27 even though it shows $30. Niantic Supply should start replying to Emails from people today as they come back into the office, so hopefully we'll get more information today.
Thanks for trying but that's not what I meant. I have sent several e-mails to that e-mail address to no avail. Have been getting automated answers and no help at all. Hence why I asked if anyone knew how to contact a human. My bad for not specifying that I was asking for Niantic Supply.

The Pre-order system is made to give indication to the retailer on how much product would be minimally needed.
This was a sale.
With way to little stock, poor communication*, and staff ghosting the progress as always.
Niantic has to REALLY look into and fix this process internally, or just halt selling these packages all together.
Obtaining these packs indidually will be an absolute nightmare this way.
FML, just like many others like me.
(*I subscribed to get notified when they went live; no email or message)

They just want to make it "Special" so only very few "special" agents can have it.
I never understood why Niantic wants to make some agents more "Special" than other agents.
Just let every agent who wants a kit / digital badge buy one, everyone will be much happier.

Pretty much ANY solution.
Then limit it one per customer.
Batch orders were the reason the birthday kits sold out in even less time lol.
Also the duty handling is part of the shipping, you aren't getting that combined.
back up....and gone!and back!!!goneeeeee

Now on sale again. Get it while you can.
Gone too fast. :(
They have increased the price to $ 30, is that allowed? thought the deal was $ 27 dollars per set.
Redacted
You should check your credit card statement for the actual charge that's been made.
In my case, the charge was correct even if that page listed the price as 30 USD per kit.
I guess there's no longer a pre order?
As you can see from the picture, this is a subscription, we paid $ 27 on the first 2 payments, but on the 3rd they have increased the price to $ 30
Third payment? I haven't even received my first kit yet, haha.
is it even shipped?

Does anyone know the best way of getting in contact with a human support agent in Niantic?
For questions regarding the kits? Contact the email with the required information listed on https://nianticsupply.com/pages/customer-service. For everything else regarding Ingress, it's ingress.com/support.
Where the heck did I get 10 kits lmao. My bad, thanks @InvestigateXM
Maybe thinking ten years = ten kits?
Got my delivary in Melbourne yesterday.
Just to add insult to injury for their supposed sale.
Again here it the trick Niantic used. They never had any intention of allowing all the people who wanted the above packs to buy them.
I suspect it was contracted out to a 3rd party and they were given a limit to the number of sales they were allowed to accept !
