Support of multi-languages for portals and descriptions
Hello, I always wondered why all of the portals and them descriptions don't support multi-language. That would be good for the tourists because when you are in a contry where you don't understand anything, is hard to discover some local area, local point of interest ... For that system, there are many possibility like is word's database, something like a opensource's platform of the words and languages...

Nice idea, but has a few drawbacks. The major one is translation quality. Automatic translation like Google Translate usually does a bad job, to the extent that it's near impossible to know what the original was. A better solution would be to have one or two alternate language titles/descriptions. Those should be done by someone fluent in both the original and target languages.
Since not all submitters are fluent in foreign languages, there could be an option in portal edit dialog to add just a translation that foreign visitors can choose (or be shown automatically based on language settings on the device).
If having separate selectable language versions is not possible to implement for portal description, the description field should have significantly larger number of characters so additional translations could be added to the end of the original description.
It would be useful for countries with more than one official language and to help visitors to that country.
Maybe translations could be checked by volunteers who are proficient. Automated translation has too many problems.
