Very rare battle beacon animation failed to display in scanner, no links broken, no faction change.

Atfer about an hour we could finally see the beacon had finished, with 1 team winning all periods and fracker running. No other agent in the same area could see anything going on, and the links did not get destroyed until an opposite team member apparently deployed a flip card.
Deploying agent is level 10 (2nd recursion) portal had 4 Softbank Ultra-links and 40 outbound links.
This was the first time i had any issue with using the very rare battle beacon.
Version 2.90.1-8c23d442 android s8 on cellular data.
