Lost wayfarer access

I'm level 15 and can't logon to wayfarer suddenly. I get this message:

Sorry, your account is not eligible.

You need to reach level 10 in INGRESS for Niantic Wayfarer access.

How can this be resolved?

Waiting, sadly. It has popped up for multiple agents the last few days, but after a while (a few hours), it just suddenly worked again.
