Notifications sent to wrong E-mail address

I have linked my Ingress account to new Gmail account but notification letters are still being sent to old Gmail account mail box. Nothing pf the following helps: switching on and switching off Email norifications, logging out and logging in to the Ingress application, cleaning the cache, re-installation of the Ingress Prime and so on
