Inventory defaults to keys after recharging
edited January 2022 in Report a Bug
When I empty my key locker(s) to recharge my keys, once I have recharged at least one key I can not do anything in inventory until I quit the game and the reopen it. I have recorded my screen to demonstrate the issue.

This default menu is not a bug. In a recent update the Inventory button will default to the last menu you were in. To default to normal Inventory you’ll need to go to that menu before closing the carousel.
for the issue with moving keys back to lockers or capsules, you need to exit the recharge so you see your Key list, then press Inventory on bottom left to get back to your Inventory to shuffle keys.
The issue is that is all I can access. Once I have done any recharging the only thing I can access in Inventory is my keys. I can't access caps or key lockers to reload them.
I can't access capsules, weapons, resonators, etc.
I have to close the app and restart to be able to access all other areas inventory
Can you share the link to your recording?
Can you access the file. It plays for me if I download it from the link
The file is set so only you have permission to view it. Go into your Google Drive folder and set the file to "Everyone with a link", otherwise we can't view the video. Alternatively, you can upload it to YouTube.
Sorry, I thought I had. Should be ok now
In that case, @ArkFang was right. A few updates back, Ingress got the "feature" that the inventory remembers if you closed it while on the key screen, and sends you back to it if you open the inventory again. Just like how you get to the keys from your items by tapping "Portal Keys", you need to tap "Items" to get back to your items from your Portal Keys.
While very confusing, it is not a bug, just bad UI 🙈
🙈 yep that does it, thanks for your help. Old-timer error. Cheers again
