Portal nomination emails
in Report a Bug
Unsure if this is a bug with the new emails or working as intended but it looks as though the AP for having a portal accepted is now 500 rather than 1000 (although don't appear to be receiving anything but that's already noted)
It also mentions "unique portal visit" recording which is new to the email, but it doesn't mention the uptick of "portals discovered" (which is also broken and logged).

still bugged, no ap, no visit, no discovery
I got a new mail today from Wayfarer about an accepted portal where it says "f this Wayspot is added to Ingress, then you will receive the Portal Key and 500 AP"
Previously, 1000 AP was rewarded for creating a portal, 500 AP - for adding a photo

Nia, what's up?

Niantic has marked the thread as "Investigating", so it seems they're aware of it.
Honestly, I don't even know if I received the AP at all, because I know I never got the 3000 AP from my previous two accepted nominations. Also if this is correct and it is now 500ap instead of 1000 that is a serious downgrade since you get the same amount from scans and photos, but getting a new portal is loads harder. This should be announced to the community ahead of time.

An update on this - I've confirmed with the team that there wasn't an intended change to the amount of AP you get for a Portal nomination so we're working:
1) Working with Wayfarer to make sure the text in emails is updated
2) Making sure something else didn't change
Note that this is separate from the portal discovery stat which is still being worked on!
It makes no difference. AP is not being rewarded for new portals discovered anyway.
It would be nice if the portal discovered and unique portals visited stats were fixed before the event so you got the +220ap for portal discovered in addition to the +1000
why was it changed on new email format that not include portal image? the old layout was better not sure why that needed change really.
This is the Niantic way, introduce broken/half finished features and then break the ones that actually do work.
