After recharging portals remotely, selecting inventory takes me beck to key list

After being forced to update to the latest version today a bug has appeared. I open a key capsule and unload keys. I then recharge portals using the keys. Upon finishing, I try to select Inventory but am always sent straight back to the key list. The only way to resolve the issue is to close and then reopen the app.

Is this what you're seeing?
With the newest update, opening the inventory sends you back to the keys if you had them open when closing out of the menu. You should be able to just get back to the inventory by tapping "Items" in the bottom left.
If that's not the case, could you share a screen recording so Niantic can figure out what is wrong?
Good, finally, nolonger multiple steps to get back to keys when playing,,,
Will wait to see if we hear back from @AussieLegend after @InvestigateXM's post to make sure it's not something else; otherwise I'll close/merge this into the other thread.
