Niantic Chat in-App disappeared

Hi, today I changed my cell phone from a Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro to a Pocophone X3 Pro and when I was using Ingress the Niantic Chat icon disappeared, I only have access to the forum, although curiously in the RN8PRO if it had the icon before uninstall the app.

This is happening for multiple people, including myself, across both Android and iOS. Presumably, this is because of the Scheduled maintenance in-effect until December 13th. Among the Renaming, features being added, etc. I’m guessing it was temporarily removed while it is being prepped for Public release eventually.
