Volatile Scout Controller Portals have disappeared

It seems that after yesterday's downtime, Volatile Scout Controller Portals are no longer displayed in Scanner nor Intel Map.
What about rotating them? It's been a while since it last rotation.
Awarding the 2 extra points for new VSCPs already scanned would be a nice addition too.

It's been almost a year since VSCPs were released and it feels as if the development team has forgotten about the feature. There haven't been enough shifts in what portals become flagged. Hopefully the new Lightship AR feature will tie into some event that benefits those chasing the Scout Controller medal.
While it has been a year since scout and controller came out, it came out in the middle of a pandemic. I don't believe that niantic got the anywhere near the amount of data they wanted.
I hope the volatiles show up again because i just started scanning now as i feel safer to travel and go out more again.
Also, they disappearing alongside the downtime might mean that it wasn't intentional.
Gotta wait and see if Nia says anything or they just show up again.

Not unless they stop their arbitrary discrimination against European Android smartphone models.
