Lost ideas.

This message is aimed at @NianticThia , Vanguards and XM Ambassadors.

There have been some really good ideas on here, often buried in the depths of forum threads.

What is the best way to preserve these/bring them to Niantic's attention as suggestions for implementation.

I am afraid many get lost.

Suggestions - a flag that certain people can use (looking at XM Ambassadors + Vanguards) that get the post added to some sort of review list.

Unsure - maybe it happens already?

Alternatively, I guess as individuals, we can forward the link to Vanguard on TG etc?

I agree. My suggestion of kinetic capsule exclusive items (VR turrets and force amps) received some likes but just a few comments and that's it. Now it's long way down. Probably because the suggestion was just ok and there was nothing to discuss. On the other hand, more controversial suggestions which get heated discussions are staying up.

That wasn't even the first time that suggestion was made.

In a normal and healthy users/customers/company relationship, Niantic's should take note of users suggestions and implement/enrich their product/game/app to make the experience more pleasant, BUT is not the path niantic choosed.

A good practice is to take note and make a list of those suggestions and have it updated, maybe some could be developed sometime.

I'm not even sure if they do read everything.

It took around two weeks for a Niantic employee to contact re a recentish post.

I guese my main concern is a ton of ideas that could be game changers, pardon the pun, just slip past silently under the bridge.

I’d hope there’s some spreadsheet or similar with all the ideas collated and they get discussed as to whether they’re doable, from a cost and time perspective. But maybe that’s asking too much.

  • Perhaps some enterprising community member could take it upon themselves to make such a list where we can all vote on them. Being community run there should be no commitment or expectation from Niantic, but they could still get a better idea for what their users want.

Then again, it might be a whole other can of worms that's just not worth opening.
