Cannot get past "Do not play Ingress while driving" disclaimer

As the title says, I can login and load the game, but clicking on the OK button does nothing, I've left it a few minutes before.

This has happened a few times. I am aware that if I delete all data I will likely get back in, but I have quite a few portal scans at the moment that I really don't want to lose.

    1. What phone and Android or iOS version are you on?
    2. Are you moving or traveling when you try and tap the OK button?
    3. Are you on a mobile connection or Wi-Fi connection when you tap the OK button?

    I get into this situation twice a day, I have given up any effort to prevent data deletion. I have a Poco X3 NFC and Xiaomi in the latest update has a very aggressive killer app in the background. When I manage to place ingress on all exception lists and I don't have to start from the beginning of each look in the Intel map, this twisting error happens and I have to delete all data 😡😡😡

    I think this maybe partly down to some new code or tools that one of the programmers has added on my request so i maybe partly to blame here while he was trying to band-aid my version to fix the map data error and where he succeeded to get my Ingress Globe location animation back that had been lost for two years this error appeared straight away on version 2.77.1 but wasnt present on 2.76.1 and this continues with each future version released currently,but we havent found the cause of it just yet.

    @NianticBrian will know who im talking about but it is getting to be a bit of a pain in the backside not being able to just have a black screen or even a working app...im now stuck as you are withcthe disclaimer as well but as with all things one good fix unlocks and breaks something else.

    No one know whats going to happen until it does this is why id love to test these things in a beta version first before forcing it on everyone and any noticable glitches can be picked up quickly.

    Im HOPING this minor glitch will be fixed Soon.

    @Zeppelin63 & @bIbejvtip try the 4 finger log trick from that final load screen and paste it into this reply to see if theres anything in your log that might be different to my logs as thats all we can try at the moment.

    Eh. You're not blame for anything. Niantic's developers and testers are ultimately responsible for making sure that they ship an app that works — or, at the very least, doesn't make things worse for anyone — regardless of who or what might have motivated them to make a change.

    Aww thanks @Toxoplasmolly its just if i wasnt trying to get my scanner working with these fixes it may not have broke for any other users...this is the first other occurance of the stuck disclaimer button i've seen posted about though so i just hope theres not many more of them.

    While i do agree its not my actual fault as i didnt put the code there to cause this i did kinda ask for movement any way they could thats why i feel like im partly to blame for it...that said your right the real fault does lay at Niantic's Door on the QA side but not every device would cause this and they cant test every single one out there so in a way we the users are there real world testers & critics.

    Sounds like im defending them lol so i'll stop digging myself a bigger hole.
