Very slow to log in to game

App: 2.79.1
Device: Galaxy S21 Ultra Exynos 2100
Game loads and stays on a blank screen.
Closeing the app and trying again, doesn't help.
Other games work fine, Catan and Transformers.
App 2.80.1 isn't yet available in my area. If it is an issue with loading the portal network.
