Feature Request: Opt out of chat

There are many reasons people might want to opt out of chat:
1. Playing in low/insufficient signal (mountaintops, Anomalies...)
2. Non social play (some people like to play while walking around their neighborhood but have zero interest in the social aspects, including some of our neuro-atypical players)
3. Fear of harassment (this is a very real thing for female gamers everywhere, and for racial and cultural minorities in many places)
4. Temporary desire for solitude
5. Needing to concentrate really hard on throwing links in the correct order
Telegram is really popular among Ingress players in part because it is low bandwidth. I doubt Niantic Chat was engineered with that in mind.
