As said above, black screen is back. Although, if I tab out and back into the game, I get the scanner disabled, location inaccurate warning, so it's as though the map, buttons etc. Just aren't loading
@gazzas89 are you still seeing this now (17:30 UTC) if you restart the Ingress app?
I experienced same issue(16:30 - 17:00 UTC), that too after starting my Apex, wasted Apex. Looks like the downtime is over and ingress started working well back again now.
I've been experiencing black screen issues since ooohhh December 2019,I'm sure it's something in the Unity engine causing them but it's hard to pinpoint down for every issue right @NianticBrian as it's related to different things for example advert placements and then a call back to the app (yes I know Ingress doesnt have adds it was an example)
I've also seen it in other games just not as bad as ingress prime seems to suffer them.
This is becoming just like the blue screen horror on Windows Operating Systems
