New mission rejection reason -- "Mission has repeated or disjointed Waypoints"
My mission chat is having a hard time figuring out what this means.
You can't even submit a mission with repeated waypoints.
As for disjointed - what are the criteria for that? Is my mission to capture a set of themed murals disjointed because I included the house of worship across the street?
Please advise. (@NianticThia , can you help?)

I've never heard of that one 🤔 Maybe a sign that Niantic is working on Missions a bit?
I assume "disjointed" means paths that are non-sensical, like "Go to X, backtrack 500m, drive 10km with a car, drive 10km back" etc. Can you share the screenshot of the Rejection mail?
I know someone that got this rejection on their missions, and we dont know what it means.
So they tried resubmitting it a few times, but it keeps getting rejected.
It would save everyone time, including Niantic,if they would give a clear and actionable reason, for rejection.
On the positive side, at least this rejection reason says it is the way points. Not the description, title or image. I'd like all the rejection reasons to be like that.
It's amazing when that's not a reason on their own support page:
I'm just in awe. Niantic knows the criteria listed is different when it comes to banners.
9 months later and still no answer..
Hello Niantic?
Not sure why folks have not replied. @NianticThia I will give this an XMA tag
I've long had a theory that if a portal has been reported as invalid, you can't add it to a mission. This used to give a message that the mission didn't have enough waypoints, even tho you can't submit one with less than the minimum of 6. Perhaps this is a new wording of that problem.
Try dropping a fire station or something iffy. This worked for me on 3 missions - I dropped a store, a clubhouse, and a church with wonky pin.
