Can't post stickers or gifs from Google Keyboard

Running Samsung Galaxy S20FE with Android 11

Ingress 2.77.1

I'm using Google's Gboard keyboard https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.inputmethod.latin

When I try to post a sticker or a gif I get the following error

Regular emojis work fine.

    I am probably in the minority on this issue, but I absolutely cannot stand animated gifs in my chat clients. I really would not want to see those in the in-game chat. At the very least, if they are allowed, I would definitely want a way to turn off showing them and any animation. I would like to see reactions to a chat comment supported, however.

    Forget animated gifs. Can't post any images from Google Keyboard, even non-gifs, even non-animated.

    Please do NOT allow stickers in chat.

    If you must have them, make them:

    1. Opt-in by group admins
    2. Mutable by individual users.

    I hate seeing conversations drowned out by low-meaning stickers.
