Taken to Prime meridian and equator instead of local

After globe screen taken to equator and prime meridian instead of current location. Been happening a lot lately. Is something up?

That happens when Prime can't lock on to your location fast enough. Did you already do the obvious things (restart phone, reinstall Prime etc.)? And do other apps like Gmaps get your location faster?

Gmaps takes about a three count to get to the correct spot. Ingress is giving maybe a one count to go to wrong one. Restarting phone does not resolve. Reinstall fails to resolve problem.

It’s some sort of anticheat, which is why it immediately appears as no location found instead of searching first. It means you have some bad location data being detected as spoofing. It doesn’t mean you’re spoofing, it just means that it’s detecting a false positive. It can also be caused by an intermittent connection, but usually it just means bad location.
