New portal photo crashes Ingress to OS on submit

After taking a new photo and I press the button to send it then Ingress terminates and must be restarted. I noticed this happened constantly if I had the google maps application also open in the process of getting directions to go somewhere.

    I did that a while back... as I said... it happens when Google Maps is running... no one else has seen this issue?
