Charged for CORE renewal but lost the CORE benefits in game

My iTunes account was billed $4.99 on July 18 and as of today the CORE benefits have not been activated in the game. This is the second time that this has happened, the first was back in April I believe. I don't like companies who take money from me and then don't give me what they promise in return.

Please refund me the $4.99 that I was charged on July 18. I have received no benefit up to today and as far as I can tell that constitutes stealing from me. I have cancelled my ongoing subscription.

  • @Grumbleman from our side on Ingress, I do see your C.O.R.E. subscription was successfully cancelled and ended July 18, but the last payment date that I can see that we received from Apple was one month ago on Jun 18, 2021 4:57:18 PM. If Apple billed you $4.99 and the payment was taken (not a pending authorization from Apple), then please request a refund from Apple by using these steps:

  • Well that is confusing. As of this morning the subscription sure looked active in my iTunes account settings. The purchase shows up in my purchase history and the proper amount was charged to my CC.

    I have requested a refund from Apple so we'll see how that goes.
