Cubes Missing From Inventory

I had over 220 Hypercubes that recently went missing from my inventory. It happened to me sometime after upgrading to iOS version 2.75.1.
At 7:14 PM EDT on July 14, I finished walking a kinetic capsule. When I returned to my inventory screen, I immediately noticed that my inventory count had dropped significantly.
I reached out to in-game support, but they have been less than helpful, only offering canned responses to the effect of "it's possible you accidentally put them in a capsule then dropped or recycled it." But I know better than to do something like that.

@NianticVK Thanks for investigating! Unfortunately that didn't work; I reinstalled and the cubes are still gone.

Of course I did. You really think if I was obtaining inventory illegitimately that I'd call attention to myself?
60 of them I obtained through my CORE subscription. So I've lost items that I paid real money for.
Just asking, because sometimes if items are picked up from someone u can never be 100% sure where they got them from. strange then i never had items i hacked myself dissapear really so not sure whats wrong here...
Ah, gotcha! I'm also very cautious of picking up wayward items, especially keys and capsules. This is the first time I've ever had something in my inventory vanish.
