I started this discussion because I am very interested in the good stories of my fellow agents. Let's make this thread a huge box of good memories!
What is your nicest memory of Ingress?
First "anomaly" with Joe Philley down in Panama City, FL. Was a blast.
As a greenie when i met that Joe Philley guy, i was ready to dislike him. he was just the sort of dude that made that impossible. I miss him.
My favourites are:
My first, and sadly only, anomaly. Helios, way back when the game was new-ish. I can remember that day, driving into Minneapolis to get ready for the event. The funniest thing too... there is a building in the area that has a lighted color stripe that changes colors throughout the day. As I was driving in, I saw that building and observed that the color stripe was completely blue.
and the Resistance won that day, so it was just one of those things that happened at random and stuck with me.
Hartford Anomoly - me and another Res agent defended a key portal against 4 frogs. It was freezing that day but their cries of frustration warmed my cold, black heart 😎💙
