Anti-aliasing is pretty resource intensive and is not always viable for such a game. It already requires an active, steady internet connection, plenty of processing power, and even on more recent mobile phones it can cause overheating/heat-dimming even on BASIC settings. Adding anti-aliasing would likely require limiting the range of accepted devices even FURTHER than it already is. Which, would mean losing even more player base. It would also require the game’s size increasing, and therefor more people deleting the game who don’t have that kind of storage or aren’t willing to sacrifice it.
You have a LOT of requests (read: demands) without considering how much time, money, manpower, and resources they would take to implement. Furthermore, you don’t consider how it could potentially impact their revenue stream. Some features of the 2020 Unity (that you tout so highly) require iOS 11 or later. Meaning more Apple devices could be dropped from support. Not to mention Android requirements. You argue, CONSTANTLY, about how ‘easy’ it would be to implement, but have you EVER had any experience or been in an environment where it was as easy as you claim? Have you ever considered there might be more PRESSING things to deal with, such as player base retainment, fixing bugs, and other things on their internal roadmap?
The Niantic Ingress team is MICRO compared to their other games, as Brian said. They are doing their best, even if we don’t all see it all the time.
If you REALLY want to try to get your ‘ideas’ implemented, learn business strategy, get experience with coding, programming, Unity, etc. and see just how hard some of your ideas would be to implement. Do further research. Cross-reference other sources. FLESH OUT YOUR IDEAS and provide ways how they might be implemented or at LEAST more descriptive than “hey do this.” If you really look into and think about what you’re saying, you might see that those ideas are just beyond the capabilities of Ingress at this time and are just not feasible or reasonable to implement.
If people have old OS Android/IOS the app disable and we cant activate. It is easy to implement. It is importent to see portals, drone fields mutch better. If people like run the best grafic need new premium phone. Soon Samsung Galaxy S22 run with AMD radeon GPU.

when Ingress Prime soon get Unity 2020.
What universe you live in?🤔
Lots Of apps with 3D use anti-aliasing.

You don't know anything about game development. It's not easy to implement.
