Email issue

I am getting email urging me to rejoin ingress as I retired & deleted my original account (Speedlocked) when ingress prime was released due to phone compatibility (losing all progress) & have continued to receive emails since that time, and since then I continue to receive these emails even though I pressed the `join` button, followed all prompts & created a new account (SpeedLockedNZ - Speedlocked was already taken...?) & because it was via your (Niantic) email link using email address (bre**********@gmail.com) .

How do I stop getting these emails without losing access to this community (or starting another email)

PS it would of been nice not to have to restart from scratch considering Niantic considers it still active.
