Lots of very good Mission Banners gets deleted because of low mission limit (180) in Mission Tool

Have noticed that several agents have already created multiple Mission Banners and used their 180 mission limit in Mission Authoring Tool. Now if they want to create more Mission Banners they need to delete some of their older and often very good Mission Banners.

Remember reading somewhere that a reason for this 180 mission limit is because of Mission Authoring Tool cannot handle more than 180 missions per agent and more missions per agent causes severe performance issues in Tool.

This sounds more like performance issue and bug in Mission Tool than intended feature so reported this as a bug here.

    So true:

There are a lot of agents who never submitted any missions and other agents have to unpublish their missions because of the limit.

I even know agents who created a second (or third) account because they want to submit more missions.

THAT IS NOT THE RIGHT WAY.

If someone wants to submit a mission or a banner there should be no limit.

Instead of deleting missions because of the limit, it may indeed be better idea to unpublish missions (= goes offline).

But if you want to put unpublished missions online later it needs to go through NIA mission review process again that can take time if I understood it correctly.

I second this! With banners using so many missions, the 180 limit imo is extremely low. If agents are creating high quality banners, it would seem that that limit should be higher than that by several multiples imo.

Maybe something like 400 for L1-15, and 2,000 for L16 agents (like the Battle Beacons, only available to L16+ agents)

What could be the downside to many many many banners to choose from?Being outside, interacting with the game, and exploring is the essence of this hobby we call Ingress 👍🏾👍🏾
