[enhancement] better indication of when there's not enough XM to perform an action

in Report a Bug
ok ok, hear me out.
i'm mentoring my 77 year old mother. she loves it, but there is some cognitive decline, so bear with me.
in cases where there is not enough XM in the tank to perform an action, like hack a portal, the button is dim ("greyed out" if it were grey), but there is no real obvious indication that the REASON you can't do the thing is a lack of XM.
it would be better, i think, to NOT grey out the button, but to make the button give an OBVIOUS (high contrast color) toast message (on the screen for a sufficient amount of time to actually read (see my other bug posts)) indicating that the problem is a low XM tank.

It already works exactly as you proposed. If you just touch the disabled button - you can see the message "Low XM" that would be shown for long enough time to read
What is the problem?
not all buttons are good at giving information in all cases.
in playing around today, i got the remote recharge screen charge and boost charge buttons to grey out without giving an indication of why. this can happen when GPS is lost. A message does pop up, but only once briefly, then goes away, and subsequent presses of the charge buttons give no indication of what is wrong.
Yes, you're right
If I manually turn off the GPS, then inventory button (bottom left corner) locks without any notification. But I still can open inventory by sliding from round button
Agree. If we can get this thing to be easily understandable by newbies, we have a greater chance of retaining them and growing the player base.
Readable text, informative messages, these are the things i want.
