Cross-linking that shouldn't be possible

I just created two intersecting links that would not normally be possible.

This happened when I was hitting the link button repeatedly, and of course I have no malicious intent.

Will this be considered cheating in Ingress? I'm very worried.

I would not worry about "cheating" here.

Cross links should never be possible, but because of a "quirk" in how the servers go about checking for and creating links (or just simple, plain bugs in the code), there are rare circumstances where cross links happen through no fault of your own.

We've got an update on this, Agents! Looks like this is just a visual glitch. These Intersecting links should be removed when the Intel Map is updated. Thanks for your patience!
