War in the information environment.
Is it possible to peacefully solve the problem on this forum? Not. Smurfs are at war with toads, a bunch of dislikes are constantly put under each post, making even the most good undertaking sometimes "spat on from head to toe."
Very often, dislikes are put on the principle "I have not read it, but I condemn it, because the agent who wrote this is from the opposite faction."
Separately, it is worth mentioning the Old Believers who do not want innovations. you just have to ask nia to use a drone for ... And you get a dislike. New feature in the game ... Dislike. New graphic element ... Dislike, Dislike, Dislike ...
It is worth mentioning the cheater, as almost immediately a bunch of dislikes and angry comments from the cheater's faction comrades arrive.
Next, let's take a look at the complaint handling. Why do some agents keep playing after years of cheating? More than a dozen complaints have been filed against them with the NIA, with evidence, but there is no result. We have selected agents who are close to NIA who can create any inappropriateness?
Now the agents are also divided into elected ambassadors and ordinary plebeians. This reinforces hostility and misunderstandings. Many people cannot understand, as well as I, why the ambassadors got people who bring confusion to the community. Well, and which are even hated by many players in the immediate environment. Also, using the status of chosenness, some agents throw mud at all those they dislike in closed and sometimes even in public chats. Expressing pride and contempt for everyone else.
The beta testers group is a group of beta testers that does not stand out from other players. It has always been that way, in all games. And only in our country there is a touch of mystery and exclusivity. And since when did beta testers begin to be recruited not by their professional qualities, but by the principle "I like this cool guy"?
What do we end up with? What is in the game is in all information sources on the game. Provocations, ****, and the impossibility of obtaining an objective assessment of the situation. Mountains of dislikes from the players of the enemy team, and of course the whipping up of negativity.
Dear developers, how do you plan to release a product in this mode, that will appeal to all players? And do you even read this forum?

Comments
Exactly. Some players in a group is weaponizing the "defame others, report", "leak privacy, report" and "Dislike" on this forum. In order not to be punished, they insult their targets in public Telegram group that is searchable by Google. We know who they are and we've seen how they keep insulting players.
Forum moderators may not be intersted in solving this issue beyond the forum but ultimately will ruin this forum and thus I've reported this out-of-control issue to higher level management of Niantic. If they does not care about it either then we'd just let it go, let clowns dance until the end of this game. But every time clowns attack others or troll at Niantic I'd sure file a report immediately in the same way they did to us.
Plus some players in a team knows deep down in their hearts that Niantic Support may not be responding efficiently and effectively (in some cases) to spoofing reports but they keep fooling forum users by saying that all their reports are carefully reviewed and every piece of information has been considered for Super Obvious Spoofing case and people should accept the results of SOS not banned because "appropriate actions have definitely been taken".
For cases that are not so obvious they will exhaust you by throwing questions like "are you overreacting" or "Niantic cannot trust you that nobody is really there because you might be lying even if you have videos because it's easy to be altered" implying that you are "crybaby". They also tend to ask you to prove that a spoofer is a spoofer with the evidence and documents you have collected and if you really have done so they instantly will file a report because you are "defaming other players" or "witch hunting" or "leaking privacy".
We know who they are and we've seen how they keep, on purpose with the help of their system of verbal tricks, driving people away from writing posts here to get more help and attentions until people say hasta la vista. Ignore them.
You are over reacting a bit.
Reporting cheats has Always been problematic.
It's really hard to detect multis. Spoofs, keep reporting, you can get those.
It took us 100s of reports to get some cheats banned.
On the forum, i often click like or dislike, especially if lazy and can't be bothered doing full comment.
New features. Most players, especially hardcore, want LESS graphics, not more. They want slick, fast, low battery game.
Drone features, don't want legal spoofing introduced.
The up and down voting doesn't win an arguement, the arguement wins.
I am however disappointed that Niantic staff do not actively participate daily in conversations. They seem to have just delegated responsibility to others which is a shame.
Yesterday there was a post where we can see obviously there is a Disagree Army and they are insulting Ingress players including me and others in their public chat group consisting of 1700+ players, which was removed due to their reporting of "leaking privacy of other players". They are indulged in making and spreading "idiots" and words-worse-than-that insults on players including me who proactively report problematic players' violating Ingress ToS and standing out to describe the fact that the reporting channel is not working well, while saying that we are actually naming and shaming the players we reported to justify their insults. Thus definitely not overreacting.
Just ignore them man.
I learnt a long time ago, don't worry about other people actions, just watch your own and make sure they are honourable.
People are smart and can see for themselves who is acting with good intentions and who isn't. It may take some time but good actions and deeds always end up winning over bad ones.
Moral high grounds always worth more.
Just let them flap and cry and don't worry about it.
I know of cases when screenshots were sent where the agent himself confirmed that she was flying. Or the facts of recruiting agents of the opposite faction were sent to conduct FS. The agent continues to play, nothing was done. She spits in everyone's face, because she knows the top of the resistance of our country. So don't be silly. We have selected agents who can do everything, but in moderation, say ************* to be rude on any resource and in comm, fly, and play from two or more accounts. And there are others who will be banned for the slightest offense.
Simple...get rid of the “disagree” feature if that is nothing but problems
Get rid of the forum, no more discussion no more problem… 🤷
Just wanted to comment to those who don't like the drone thing because of "legal spoofing"... spoofing is already legal, my dears.
Yes, I know it's not, but it is.
Cheers
It's not just the legal spoofing.
Its the removal of a core part of the game myself and many others enjoy, the challenge of getting to hard to get to places.
If drone takes over, you won't even need to go outside and it no longer is an AR game.
Many no longer go anywhere and successfully play at home. Imagine a quarantine covid situation where agent avatars roam freely around the city during curfew. Or, like ours, in the worst hurricane, a fragile girl courageously walks through the frost and wild snowdrifts to the portal in the forest. Whether there are drones or not, the fact remains that cheaters have flown and are flying. So, alas, the one who is against drones is for the fact that only cheaters fly, and accordingly, this agent may be a cheater.
