Portal Criteria Update
With the introduction of pogo submissions rolling out I'm wondering if it's time Niantic considers reevaluating the general portal criteria.
Ingress and Pogo might have similarities but play style is so different that while it has been managing with pogo player joining Ingress I think problems with get considerable worse when submitters don't even have the general knowledge dual (pogo/ingress) agents have gained leveling up to 10.
Cell placement is another example of an issue. How many submissions will get the 'approved' reply but only for ingress leading to confusion, pissed off people and more and more portal edits.
Taking the different playstyles into account they could when have pogo players take a test that provides all this info like OPR do with the same or similar stakes.

A test i believe is necessary when I think of all I've heard about PoGo subs in other countries.
The whole PoGo cell thing is very frustrating. The cells are huge and having a portal 40-50m away from another may still only create one pokestop. You can be off by a few feet and it can cost you multiple pokestops/gyms.
Niantic won't change the formula. And we need to live with that and try to get placement right first time. But then OPR will always move pins.
