So.. my cap apparently requires and ADA and a burster to make an ADA. I certainly hope this is a bug

We didn't want to delay the Optima Challenge so we went forward with this known visual issue, but it doesn't affect the actual input and output for the JARVIS Program.

It's a visual bug. Note the updated paragraph of the official announcement:
https://community.ingress.com/en/discussion/14034/important-update-optima-kinetic-challenge-event

You'll get a Jarvis even though it shows an ADA as the end product.
