2.66.2 - Range slider does not show the distance until it's updated.

I can't remember this being an issue before, but when I change the range slider in COMM, it doesn't update the distance that I want to look at, until after the data has been loaded.

This makes it really unintuitive to say "I want to look at 20kms" and have to guess at the right knob, wait for it to load, and then check whether I remembered the right one.
