Top is all time, bottom is Weekly stat.
Maybe include the stat on the Now tab too.
Yeah your right it doesn't need to be in the weekly stats since that's only ever going to be 1 or 0
"Your statistic for Months Subscribed has incremented by 0 points in the last week" is the logic.
You've been subscribed 0 months for the last 7 days. Yeah, that makes sense.
That would just be putting an all-time stat in the week or month tab, where it doesn't really belong. The stat is measured cumulatively rather than by streak/ongoing. It's more like First Saturday than it is like guardian or sojourner.
It's based on when the subscription is renewed, so it should say "1" in the week tab for 7 days after renewal. After those 7 days, it would be reflected in the month tab.
I can see the logic in including it in the now tab, but not sure what purpose it would really serve? It would always either be 0 or 1, based on whether or not the subscription is active, which is already reflected by flair or lack of.
That's how the week stat works though. If you get a point for IFS in Week 1, in Week 2,3,4, it shows 0, and then Week 5 it shows a 1 again.
It's simply a "These are the points you've received in the last week".
Same reason you have to wait an entire week for your 'Sojourner' to disappear from Week stats and return to it's current value.
Except First Saturday is something that happens just one day a month. Months subscribed isn't a single event, it's something stretched out for the entire month.
They are both single day a month events,
Incrementing on the anniversary,
Either the 1st Saturday or renewal date....
The renewal of your subscription once a month is the single event in this case. That is what counts toward the statistic. It is not measured in the way you are describing.
The increase of your badge only happens once a month. They're counting t he increases, not the fact that you have a subscription.
I know what it's counting and how, I'm just saying if they are going to call the stat "Months Subscribed" it shouldn't be counted that way. "Months Subscribed" isn't a one time event. It is something on going that should tick up every time you renew. It should be like Sojourner ticking up by one each month you renew.
Now if the stat was "Subscriptions Paid For" then yest it would absolutely make sense to say "2 all time", "1 this month" and "0 for the week"
The point being that changing that display for such a niche tiny element that 1% of the population cares about, is super insignificant in terms of their development priorities for a small team.
