Visual range radius is smaller than actual range

Hi everyone!
This is my precious range circle. It looks like the portal is out of my range. But look carefully. I still can hack the portal and the actual range is 34.4 meters. Have me came across some sort of pure magic? No, just an ordinary front-end bug.
Could you fix it please? It`s really confusing

Left circle is incorrect (looks like it's about 25 meres), right circle is correct (40 meters).

I think part of this is to do with the lack of deformation at higher latitudes too. Something Redacted didn't do perfectly either, but Prime is particularly bad at, when it shows the precise distance to a portal, and the circle is right on the center of the portal, yet the view says "36.5m" etc.

If this is not a bug, can we get any sort of explanation about why the circle often doesn't show 25m?
