I can't wait until we are able to start crafting Hybrid VR items in Kinetic Capsules

Can you imagine being able to combine Turrets and Force Amps into a Force Turret? Or combining Heat Sinks and Multhacks into Hacksinks? Or combining XMPs, Ultrastrikes, and power cubes to make UXMPs. Or combine multiple Quantum Caps to create limited use Kinetic Caps?

And them Pikachu could fuse with Charizard, and mega evolve to Mega Charichu Y.I think you are overdreaming a bit there. I want new items and mod too, but just mixing already existing ones isnt the right path (imo). I prefer to see VR Turrets and VR Force Amps first.

I like the idea of some exclusive Kinetic Capsule item, as well as more crafting programs, but rather then fusing two existing items, I think a completely new one would be best. Besides, I think fusing two mods into one would be a bit broken due to agents essentially being able to place 8 mods in a portal.
I love the idea.
If you made say a forceturret, it would have to be weaker than either item.
Same with a shieldamp. What you gain in shared ability should have less power than an item built for that purpose.

Only if we can then craft ITO EN Amps. Imagine the raw power of combining an ITO EN Transmuter(+/-) with a Link Amp! All hack output is immediately transmuted into Link Amps while portal range increases, the possibilities are almost as limitless as your link distance. #TheyITOEnxtend
Seriously though I would love to see more crafting recipes for Kinetic Capsules, including the possibility for new items which can only be obtained via kinetic crafting. Those extra recipes slots exist for a reason!

It is so much rare for you to specifically find a way to obtain it from, for example, other people who have it, exclusive passcodes and loadouts from events, etc, rather than from a kinetic capsule.

Other exclusive to Kinetic Capsules mods would be nice, yes.

Would be a good idea to have a vr sheild mix with a hs or mh, maybe have vr of both (shield and hs, shield and mh) and have them be the equivalent of having a rare shield and a rare heatsink on in 1 mod position, so yiu could then have the heat sink and multi hack versions with 2 rare shields for only 2 mod spaces
If we were to acquire VR Turrets and Force Amps from Kinetics, I guess it would have to be more than 8 km to get it. Make it really hard to obtain would be great and challenging for us :)
Yeah but maybe it's the right direction? 4 mods are actually oldschool. These days, literally every area is dense/clustered. Single portals here and there are ignored overall. People tend to chose routes with as many portals as possible. Result of the clusters is: 1x8 makes damage to... 20, 30... 50 portals at the same time, dozens of mods gone of with like 3 bursters.
Sure, player's problem, they could have ignored like 80% of the portales and just deploy mods in the rest (maybe even leave the 80% neutral or single R capure/no links). But should this become the only working strategy to deal with areas with a huge amount of portals? The more portals appear the bigger the drama is.
Combining mods may one way to make a portal cluster defendable.
Not only that but keeping them KCap only items guarantees they aren't common
No one said it had to be easy, however as it is currently they will only vanish until there is zero left, and only people at locations that have anomalies will really have a chance to obtain one.
That's irrelevant, 100 is a trivial amount in the grand scale of things. The existence of an item shouldn't depend on old players that were around when VR items duped sticking around.
Kind of piggy backing on this idea, it would be rad any mod with a shield to improve the mods stickiness. This way force amps/turrets wouldn't pop off immediately and would have to be USed off. Might encourage the use of offensive mods more
I would like to see new mods come into the game.
Crafting VR turrets and force amps should be easy to do.
Crafting Rare shields would be nice too.
Any new mods would have to be balanced correctly to not unbalance the game, either for non-subscribers and those with subscriptions.
Personally, I want to craft L9 to L16 Resonators, and have them on a portal.
But a player may only play either 1 R8 or 1 R9 or 1 R10 etc. Not all from L8 to L16. Recursion perk?
YES please!! L9 to L16 resonators would be a great idea. If it turns the recipe is exclusive for the KC, then it would make more players to use it!

For a Jarvis or an ADA I would make the recipe include one of it's opposite. So to create an ADA you wod need 1 Jarvis, 1 8xmp, and one 8 power cube. And to make a Jarvis you would use an ADA
I haven't thought of this, but I really like it! Seems pretty balanced so the game isn't being overloaded with viruses out of nowhere.
As an enlightened I would make almost all my jarvis into ADA

Yeah but the exchange needs to be disadvantageous, otherwise it would promote abuse.
I perceive it differently. Creating new VR items using different items in the game promotes creativity.
