believe many other encounter this issue, iOS portal scan failed frequently...
I love scan portals, but almost have to restart app every other time, and no guarantee it works after restart...
if you, developer, really want to confirm valid portal by having us, player, to scan portals, please, fix the bug. otherwise both badge design are meaningless.

Yup. I see this all the time. I now have a bunch of scans waiting for upload but when I try to upload the app spins for minutes then crashes. So no more scanning for me until that little nugget is fixed.
