Years ago I had created a banner together with a player who was no longer active and now wanted to publish the two individual missions by himself, but one is repeatedly rejected - for months, the reason is not apparent, I have no idea what could be adjusted: (

can u show how it looks? i know they will reject if it contains single letters or niantic logos etc...
I want to see your mission name and descriptions, because I believe it could be related to that, Niantic wisely, had stated that now mission descriptions need to tell us something original about the place, for instance, local History, Although I tried telling lore-wise description missions but it did not work.
That's not entirely true since I made one from the scanner, I tried to make one mixing Prime with redacted but it did not entirely match (I needed east Africa, Madagascar Island and Australia to be shown, the proportions were different).
EDIT: I understand you want to replicate one of the banners from another town to yours, but it would deform the purpose of a banner, it's like a postcard and the most greatest thing from them is not whether it looks cool on your profile, are the memories attached while you were doing it!
this is the picture of the entire mosaic, mission 1 is affected (bottom right) ... there is no apparent reason to reject it - the mosaic has been completed around 70 times so far, all my missions (including several mosaics) have at least ratings of 88% ... I have created over 100 missions so far because I enjoy them and others obviously too, but this arbitrary behavior when releasing them is frustrating, especially because they don't even give reasons for a rejection
What did the mails say?
can you make a couple of minor changes to the mission to see if there is an issue there? Change the order of the hacks? Add an upgrade? Something like that.
You likely won’t get a response from Niantic in their official community forums, so just gotta play their game until something sticks.
Yeah, I would make as @ZeroHecksGiven and modify the description (usually works)
The Mails does have a standard text, they never give a specific reason and just referring to mission guidelines :).
I have already made around 25 minor changes, I'm out of ideas - but I'm willing to play their game until the mission gets approved. Not the first time, but the one with most iterations so far 😁.
Wow, that's crazy.
Definitely a bummer you can't get a straight reason about this. Would only take a second for someone to look into this and provide some sort of communication. Rather, you are frustrated and annoyed. Yet, Niantic wonders why agents stop playing this game...
Let me see your first mission, then
Are the descriptions the same across all missions? Can you share that description here? There is some suspicion that certain words can kick a rejection. This is all speculation though since Niantic won't respond to these issues with actual reasons for the rejection.
After using Support I have got more specific feedback and the text I had used once years ago for the initial publishing of the mission (taken from a information point where the mission started) went online in the meantime, so that niantic complained that I have copied the text from a third party source.
Would be great if niantic would be more specific in giving this information directly within their e-Mails, there is no reason for me to review missions which was live since years and was just going to change ownership.
I have resubmitted the mission now - with changed description - will hope that this helps 😊.
I had this situation happen for me.
My solution was to delete the entire mission and recreate it from scratch, and then it was approved within days.
Don't know why.
Mission accomplished - it's online now :)
Yes, sometimes the most expedient thing to do is pull the entire thing and resubmit. sigh.
