IFS at Home – St. George, UT – 1.2.2021

Our virtual tour of Utah's college and university campuses continued this month with a visit to the campus of Dixie State University in St. George, Utah.

Due to the recent concerns over institution names connected to the south and slavery in the United States, Dixie State's Board of Trustees recently voted to begin the formal process to pursue a name change for the university. Pending approval from the Utah State Legislature next month, this institution will no longer be called Dixie State, so this will likely be the last First Saturday held at "Dixie State University."

In addition to Dixie State, we've now visited Southern Utah University in Cedar City, Snow College in Ephriam, Utah State University in Logan, Salt Lake Community College, and Utah Valley University in Orem.

Our group has grown quite a bit through the months of COVID lockdowns and we are regularly getting about 50 participants in our virtual First Saturdays.

We've got quite a large contingent of agents from Australia who've joined us and we're all enjoying getting to know agents from around the globe.

We enjoyed solving the passcode challenge together and again, a good time was had by all!
