GDPR does provide the location data of the portal.
Not for uniques.
GDPR provides your activity log for the last 2.5 years from which you can infer 'recent' uniques. The data table for the actual uniques for people like me with 8 years of history, consists of date stamps numbered one to 30,000. No portal data. I'd wondered why, but explaining that it's a random hash makes me understand now.
Yes, this is what I mean by privacy earlier. The main data (that you get from a GPDR request) is limited to a certain time, much like how Google location history (if enabled) only goes back three years. The uniques are stored forever, but hashed. So if, say, you delete your account, then they can forget your UID and the portals you visited will be irretrievable. The timestamps are presumably needed to generate the weekly/monthly stats.
As Ofer said, the hashing wasn't for privacy. The data is all still reversible, with enough time. It's the time and effort part that makes it difficult.
i guess its a complex thing to actually make it working visible to all agents otherwise we would have this long ago. must be the most request feature besides more keylockers...

nice but it miss unique drone hack and unique scan
The game can already differentiate uniques portals, to count towards the badges, so what's the difference/difficult to show a marker?
