Cannot pickup dropped portal keys

Cannot pick up portal keys that were dropped by a destroyed portal without having to restart the application. After a restart you can pickup keys but once you do another action within the game you cannot pick up keys again without doing a restart.
Using galaxy s9+ android os

I can honestly say this isn't a problem for me. What version of Ingress are you using?
