#IngressFS - Bonn, Germany - June 1st 2019 - pics and fails

The First Saturday in Bonn, Germany was great.
We made a lot of pictures of happy people unter at nice weather: photos.app.goo.gl/vRUTQvC6NMt1mDJm8
The local POCs ( @schmuul and @EinfachAleks ) did a great job at organizing swag and do a fast registration on site.
What was a downer at this day was the performance of Niantic.
- A lot of agents weren't able to hack media from the registration portal.
- They mismatched the timezones so the registration portal and restocking portal went online an hour later than scheduled.
I know that the restock portal is a "nice to have". But since I was temporarily out of resonators, I would have appreciated this "nice to have", but I had to leave earlier in order to take care of my children at home.
But on a 3x AP Saturday it can make a lot of difference if you start an hour earlier or later, just to fit your actions in the measured time frame.
NIA OPS does usually a great job. The last FS-events in our region worked flawless as it concerned this backend side support. But it's sad that there isn't anyone who can fix a timezone problem for several European sites within 10 or 20 minutes. This destroys a lot of trust that was built up in the last years by POCs .
A short notice that somebody looked after that problem and learnt a lesson would be nice.
