Everybody here's asking for craftable VR link amps and VR turrets/force amps, meanwhile I'm here patiently hoping for resonators to finally get their own VR version of some kind.
These just sound like a way to get around the number of mod slots tbh. I’d personally like a way to convert common mods to rare mods. At higher levels, common mods become pretty much useless, so having a way to turn them into rare mods would be a welcome change.
Hope we can craft fracker soon in the kinetic Capsule but we must go extreme long distance say 60-100km for 1 fracker. I think it is good balance between get free or pay for fracker.
You/we need to revisit then the countless other threads that complain about the ease with which portal keys are already duping.
IF @NianticThia and the dev team decide to significantly reduce the portal key duplication rate to where it is unfeasible to attain more keys by duping, then we can ask for key duping by Rare Kinetic Capsule.

Remember: If you're saying "1 key = 10 keys", then you only have to walk 8kms to get SEVENTY keys. Even if you start with 1 key, you'll have over 70 keys within 16kms of walking. That's literally absurd.
i’d like to be able to craft an existing key into five or ten keys. it’s difficult if you only have one key and need to obtain / use more. The quantum cap process to dupe a key is very long. At least this would allow users to plans and earn through a program.
if the key is far away and you can’t just go and hack more this allows you to get more to use.
The only useful kcap recipe I can think of would be the ability to convert low lever gear into higher level gear similar to the way cubes are. 10 xmps+1 km = 5 xmps of one level higher. You'd want the distance so short since the increase is so small, but eventually you could get level 8 gear out of it. It could work with xmps, ultra strikes, and resos. This would really help out folks in rural areas that can't get a large group together to build higher level portals. A single agent with access to only P5s they built themselves could convert 40 X5s into 5 X8s with 7km of walking.
How about turning two Apex boosts into a portal fracker? The 2:1 ratio is roughly equivalent to the single-item store cost so it would be a fair-ish exchange. It could also go the other way-- one fracker to two Apex boosts.
If it is about nerfing Qcap and keys(i see some comments from someone who think keys hurt but for example bursters/flipcards dont) then i'd like a recipe to multiply keys,-but it should consume not only one key but a big (resonable) bunch of loot and produce 2-3 keys from 1. As works with vrps,not as with sbul/hypercube/vrhs/vrmh...waste more USEFUL stuff than you'll get from conversion.
I think more ideas for programs that convert higher level material to lower level material could be seeked. Think of them similar to the FS package that is available - items that focus on being able to streamline fully deploy portals
I'm more in favor of this form of key duping. They should stop Quantums from being able to dupe keys. You put 1 key and like 20 lvl 4+ resos and cubes in a K Cap and get 2 or 3 keys out. Exactly as you said. The cost is steep, and you have to walk. Make people earn key dupes. I think current K Cap rarity is good where it's at, maybe make them more rare if anything.
The point is to stop key duplication. Adding a key duplication pattern would simply allow the people at fault to continue to abuse unlimited keys.
Gear is unlimited. Keys are location specific. It's not wasteful if you're doing 1000 hacks a day and getting far more gear that you can waste for precious keys.
It makes one lazy and a mediocre player which always selects the easy or cruise control mode. If one wants easy mode, go and play Pokemon Go or Pikmin Bloom.
The folks complaining about the duplication of keys are the same people who are too lazy to go **** that portal in the first place. If agents "made the drive" to **** the portal, the "1000's" keys would be useless.

L9 resos, to build l9 portals. Just have to find somewhere to shove that ninth reso into.

i’d like to recommend a new Kinetic program to forge a portal key into ten keys of the same.
so much has been focused on gear but not keys. while keys do multiply well in quantum’s. if you only have one or two, it can be difficult.

I also think having it create more keys is not a good game design. I kinda suspect jontebula put it there just for more disagrees ...
Now if I can craft a random key from anywhere in the world, I'd probably do that :)

I keep around 300 link amps in quantum capsules. Together with the hacked link amps, that gives me enough supply to run the sbul program all the time.

KC's already suffer from the "No walking, just Adventure Sync abusing" situation, so "you have to walk" is a misunderstanding of reality.
