Idea for a series of Mission Banners
in General
I've been musing recently about missions... As a player who enjoys a good mission banner, I was thinking wouldn't it be cool if each state in the US had a banner showing the outline of the state and some interesting thing about the state inside the outline?
For instance, I live in Ohio. You could have the Ohio outline, with something referencing the birthplace of aviation, or the fact that Neil Armstrong was from here, or put a buckeye on it or something. Then you could do one banner (of 36-48 missions) for each state in the US.
Thoughts? Potential collaborators?

Yeah, there's some old sets of singles from back in the day designed around this idea... In each state's capital. There was a couple working on this for awhile that had made the most progress, but I haven't heard any updates in a long while. There's also a few singles that do this on more of a micro-level... Like in PA... There's a mission that makes you visit each county courthouse and I don't think a single person has ever done it.
That would kind of drive me crazy because I wouldn't be able to do sets that I'd be passing along the way and it would seem like a collosal waste of gas! Lolz! It would be a cool road trip with a group though and I could see @VAIN being up for something like that! 😉🤣😂😍

I know there's a mission in Ohio to visit each of the 88 county courthouses and I've heard stories of at least one player doing it. But I definitely wouldn't waste my time on that for a single mission. A 36-48 mission banner, I'd consider...
And would it be better to keep them in just the state capitals or wind around entire states for each banner?
As an Aussie, I might steal this idea....
If it falls through, I'd suggest at least a 3x6 banner of each state's flag.
Flags, an interesting idea. We have the Ohio flag already in a banner. Unsure about elsewhere.
State flags would be the better way to do it, then you have more consistency of size and design. The fact that some exist gives you a head start.
I personally think they should all be in state capitals. Not all around the state, and not in the biggest city. So, for example, New York should be in Albany, not NYC. The bigger city is usually overrun with banners anyway. (But then, you could have two copies of the same... why not?)
Given the time, it would be an awesome road trip!
It would drive me nuts even to have them wandering around the entire state. I mean, Rhode Island would be a piece of cake, but Texas would be a nightmare waste of gas while passing up other banners!
It might be fun to do a series of state birds or state flowers too.
